Emma Black - Trustee

Current Job: Managing Director of Cascade Cash Management 
Dr Emma Black is a Managing Director of Cascades Cash Management and CF30 regulated financial advisor at Tier One Capital. Her role combines a detailed knowledge of the intricacies of private banking and investment management, while she also has specialised in Savings and Structured Products. She is a published academic in the fields of Mergers and Acquisitions, Emerging and Frontier Markets, and Behavioural Finance.  Dr Emma holds a PhD in Behavioural Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions from Durham University as well as the CFA Investment Management Certificate and the Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management from the CISI. 
Dr Emma lectured at Durham, Newcastle and Leeds University over a period of eight years. While at Durham University, Emma designed and delivered the Supported Progression summer school for GCSE and A-Level pupils in Sutton. 

John Dadge – Trustee

Current Job: Chartered Town Planner

John Dadge is a chartered town planner specialising in commercial development. He is a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and a  former founding partner of East Anglian chartered surveyors practice at Barker Storey Matthews.  John currently acts as a planning and development consultant to the firm. He is chairman of Northborough Parish Council and his two children are former students of AMVC where he was a Governor for over 15 years. His particular areas of expertise in relation to his role as Trustee relates to all aspects of planning and development and facilities management.

Gary Dawkins – Trustee and Member

Current Job: Retired after 38 years with BT
Gary was a primary school governor for a few years and then he became a secondary school governor since 1991. He retired as a Lead Consultant with BT, working in design of its networks. Gary holds a Diploma in Management Studies and is a Fellow of The Institution of Engineering & Technology. 

Iain Erskine – Vice Chair of Trustees

Current Job: Retired and a part time Leadership Coaching and Mentoring Lead for the MAT (2 days a week)

Iain has been in teaching for over 40 years. He was a secondary school Head of PE, PE Advisor, Primary School Class teacher, Deputy Head, Head and then Principal. He led the Fulbridge Academy from Special Measures to Outstanding, whilst achieving the status of National School of Creativity. He was a National Leader of Education, an Ambition School Leadership coach and mentor and a Whole Education Network Peer Reviewer. Iain is author of ‘Brilliant Headteacher’ published by Pearson.

Andrew Finding - Trustee

Current Job: Financial Controller - Elliott Group Ltd
Andrew’s current role is heading up the accounting and property functions for Elliott Group Limited. He has held similar positions at a variety of businesses across several sectors and has extensive experience of financial, change and corporate governance management. For over five years Andrew was a Governor at a local Primary School where he chaired the Resources Committee. Andrew holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.

Dr Mary Kiernan - Trustee

Current Job: Deputy Head Computing and Information Systems, University of Greenwich
Mary's current job role has allowed her to undertake research into technology enhanced learning. This enabled better delivery of education to partners in the UK, Africa and the Far East.  Previously, Mary has held positions as Director of Quality and was a Head of Department as well as also undertaking consultancy work. Her community roles cover governance at primary and secondary schools, government quality reviews and visiting a range of institutions across the world as an academic accreditation board member for the British Computing Society. Mary holds a PhD in the area of Computer Science, MSc in Human Computer Systems and BSc (Hons) in Computer Science.

Jonathan Theobalds - Trustee

Jonathan holds previous experience of Chair of Governors at both primary and secondary level and in the past, has also been a Trustee of another Multi-Academy Trust.

David Whiles - Trustee

 David is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Chartered Water and Environmental Manager. He has extensive international experience in construction, the development of public health infrastructure and organisational change.
